POLAND

Nowadays many kids in Poland use slang to say "hello".
The sentence "Hi, how are you?" has been changed several times:
Cześć, jak się masz?
Sie masz?
Sie ma!
Siemka!

POLAND

Greeting is a way to communicate awareness of each other's presence, to show attention to, and to suggest a type of relationship or social status between individuals or groups of people coming in contact with each other. Greetings can be expressed both audibly and physically, and often involve a combination of the two.
How do we say 'hallo"?
We shake hands.
Boys sometimes use "Soul Brother Handshake" - traditional handshake followed by hooking thumbs and holding each other's hand up.
Boys sometimes touch each others fists calling it "turtle sign"- facing palm slaps.
Men sometimes kiss women's hand.
Girls hug each other; cheek kissing is also popular-depending on situation the number of kisses is usually one, two, three.
